2026 Annual Meeting of the Society for Social Neuroscience (S4SN 2026) will take place in Montréal, Canada, August 23–26, 2026, at the Centre Mont-Royal, located in the heart of downtown Montréal!

S4SN brings together researchers working across human and non-human animal models to investigate the neural and biological foundations of social cognition and behavior. We look forward to an interdisciplinary program with engaging talks, discussions, and opportunities for connection.

At the 2026 meeting, we will feature two Special Lectures:
Larry Young Memorial Lecture: Richard Mooney, Duke University
John Cacioppo Memorial Lecutre: Abigail March, Georgetown University

We will also feature about 40 distinguished speakers selected from symposium proposals or invited directly by the Society, representing a broad range of research areas in social neuroscience. The full list of speakers will be announced in early June.

Symposium proposal submissions have now closed. We continue to welcome poster submissions and encourage researchers across all areas of social neuroscience to participate.

Submit your poster abstract here!

We look forward to welcoming you to Montreal for an unforgettable week of science, collaboration, and celebration!
